2016 - An exciting year for ITS!

As another year draws to a close, ITS is proud of its accomplishments and the steady growth it is undergoing. The highlight of the year has been the move to our new premises. To accommodate growth and expansion into new markets, the business invested in new premises that include a pilot plant for industrial scale up, a test kitchen, a flavour laboratory and a state-of-the-art Innovation Centre which is being commissioned for early 2017. The move went to plan and by the end of April, the team had settled into their new offices. 

Christmas Holidays 

ITS will be shut from 12pm on Friday 23rd December 2016, until 9am on Tuesday 3rd January 2017, when our offices will re-open.

Donations to the Red Cross and Amnesty International

 
 

As Christmas approaches, get set for the festivities with an array of exciting flavoursand combinations that will ignite the senses.

Our range will excite and delight your customers with some surprising, but tasty flavour combinations. There are many Christmas flavours to explore, from Sparkling Wine & Red Berry, Candy Cane through to Panettone flavours. Don’t forget to also explore our range of flavours for savoury applications.

 

     

This year, ITS has decided to make donations to the British Red Cross and Amnesty International.

Mike Bagshaw, owner of ITS said, ‘for many people around the world, life is tough and although we all have our own challenges to face, we don’t have to face them alone. We can all play a role in supporting others through their greatest hardships.’

According to this growing trend, consumers are looking for innovative ways to increase the daily intake amount of fruits and vegetables.

New headquarters for ITS

International Taste Solutions (ITS) has recently invested in a new headquarters based in Newbury (West Berkshire). The company, which is already operating at the new facilities, is planning to open soon a state-of-the-art Innovation Centre and a Pilot Plant for industrial scale up. ITS Expanding to Southern Europe

After establishing its business in the UK, Ireland and The Netherlands, ITS is expanding its business to Italy, Spain and Portugal 

     

International Taste Solutions (ITS) will welcome visitors in Hall A-4, booth 171 at the leading international exhibition for the global baking industry, taking place in Munich (Germany) next 12-17 September.

 
 
 
 
 

Salt reduction in breads

Salt is one of the most effective flavour enhancers used in baked goods today. The new stricter targets by the FSA include a 10% reduction to an average 0.96g salt per 100g in bread and rolls which will have a significant impact on flavour.

     

 The consumption of fruit-based products is increasing, since consumers are more concerned about eating healthier food. According to Innova Market Insights, UK led the consumption in the western European market with 22.1% of fruit-based products in 2013. Since then, the upward trend has continued.
