ITS Donates to British Red Cross Ebola Outbreak Appeal

The Ebola outbreak in West Africa has evolved into the largest, most severe and complex outbreak in the history of the disease. In parts of Africa, Ebola continues to accelerate and remains largely unchecked. The total number of confirmed, probable and suspected cases of Ebola worldwide is now over 11,000 with almost 5,000 deaths. The impact of the crisis is thought to be far greater as not all cases have been reported.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that new Ebola cases could climb to 10,000 per week in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone alone. With no known cure, less than half of those infected are expected to survive.

ITS have pledged to donate £1,000 towards their cause through the British Red Cross Ebola Outbreak Appeal. Mike Bagshaw, owner of ITS said, 'During this time, a season of goodwill, let's not forget the children and their families, whether infected or affected, who are being exposed to extreme distress due to loss, family separation and isolation.'
