ITS supports 'Surfers Against Sewage' charity

ITS is delighted to announce that we are supporting the initiative taken by Surfers Against Sewage to clean up our oceans, especially against single use plastic. This is only one of the many efforts being undertaken by this marine conservation charity to protect our coastline.

The success of the 2018 Big Spring Beach Clean saw the charity together with the help of 35,500 people,  remove over 63 TONNES of marine plastic pollution and litter from 575 beaches across the UK! The majority of the plastic pollution that volunteers find on beaches are avoidable, single-use items such as straws, stirrers, plastic bottles, plastic bags, disposable lighters, plastic cotton bud sticks, condiment sachets and more.

We can all play a part with the help of schools, businesses, community groups and local government to drive action on reducing local use of avoidable single-use plastics. Be a part of this drive and help save the planet!
